Thank you for attending our kickoff meeting for our first studio trip to Walt Disney World! For those who couldn't make it you can access the recording and the link to the deck with all the info.
As a reminder, please book your REFUNDABLE hotel with Tracy and Abbie by September 8th. A $200 deposit is required but fully refundable up to 30 days before arrival. SO even if you are on the fence- book it anyway!!!

Dancers will need to arrive in Orlando by Wednesday, June 26, and stay until at least Monday, July 1, 2024. Families are welcome to arrive earlier and/or stay later but these are our studio event dates for when we will need everyone onsite. We don’t have a performance date or location yet.
Disney requires us to submit up to three options for performance dates within that timeframe, plus we also plan to do a workshop where the dancers will take class from a Disney Cast Member and a team dinner or event. We will solidify all dates and details once we are accepted and confirmed with Disney.
If you can believe it, it’s not too early to book our hotel rooms. MDA is partnering with Abbie Bridge and Tracy Bernier of Love the Mouse Travel to book the Walt Disney World Resort rooms for us. Abbie and Tracy specialize in Disney travel and bring a wealth of knowledge to share with us all on attractions, dining, technology, and more. In addition, they recommend we book our hotel rooms now to ensure we secure everyone’s first choice of room type at the best price, especially since the deposits are refundable. It’s time to book your Disney Resort Room! MDA has selected Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, a lovely moderately-priced resort located on Disney property with quick access to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios via the Disney Skyliner gondola system. These rooms can accommodate up to 5 guests, as they feature two queen beds plus a 5th pulldown bed suitable for a child under the age of 10.
Caribbean Beach is one of the largest and most spread-out resorts on property, so we recommend the Preferred Room category as it will guarantee you are located in a room in close proximity to dining options, main pool, and transportation. The second option, the standard room, is a less expensive option with the same set up, it just might be a longer walk (10 minutes or so) to those amenities. There is a small fee of about $25/night for a 3rd and/or 4th adult in the room. Availability is limited and is not guaranteed until deposit is paid.

Check in and check out dates.
If you aren’t sure, we recommend you book the maximum number of days you will need now, and we can modify it later without penalty, up to 30 days prior to check-in. It is easy to remove nights later, but we can’t always add due to limited availability, so plan for a longer stay and then we can remove any nights you won’t need once you book your flights.

Pay your $200 refundable deposit.
Love the Mouse Travel utilizes a secure encrypted site to collect credit card information. Disney requires a $200 deposit to secure your reservation, which is completely refundable up to 30 days prior to check-in. The balance is due on or before that 30-day mark, and you can make any payments you wish along the way. Easy.
Once you are booked, Tracy and I will monitor your reservation for all possible discounts and apply them if and when they are available for your dates and resort. There are no guarantees, so we recommend you feel comfortable with the price you are booking at and if we are able to apply a discount later, even better. If you don’t already have one, you may consider applying for a Disney Visa, as Disney often offers discounts exclusively for Disney Visa cardholders. For more info, visit: https://disneyrewards.com/
We will also link everyone’s reservation together and request we all be near each other. This is just a request and not a guarantee, but Disney is usually very good about trying to accommodate these requests. If there is anything else you may need to request, just let us know!

Flights will be booked on your own to ensure you secure the best price and most convenient times for your family. Once you book, Tracy and I can arrange your ground transportation to and from the Orlando airport (MCO).
